The Mayor of Reykjavík will welcome the participants of the EcoPorcura 2009 conference.  The guests will be able to join an exhibition by local artist on climate change and consumption patterns.


Dinner at the Perlan "the Pearl" Restaurant


Thursday 26.03.2009  Time: 19:30 Dinner (departure from Hilton 19:15)

Perlan "the Pearl" is one of the most exquisite restaurant in Iceland with highly unusual architecture. The Pearl rests on six huge storage tanks, each able to hold 4 million liters of geothermal heated water. The restaurant is on the top floor which slowly rotates, providing its guest with a breathtaking panoramic view of Reykjavík. This is a first class restaurant, very elegant and dressy, perfect for our dinner.
After the dinner a transport to the hotel will be organized.

Transfer from the conference venue to Perlan will be arranged.  Departure from Hilton Hotel  19:15.

Puffin-terrine with wild mushrooms, honey marinated figs and salad

Pan fried arctic char with butter sauce, glazed leek, purée of potatoes and vegetables

Icelandic skyr brúlée with blueberries and Cassis sorbet
